A Series of 6 Tuesday classes January 6 - February 10.
6:30-8:30 pm. Taught by Musō Constance Braden.

In this class we’ll study The Flower Ornament Scripture.
Reading the vast and extravagant Avatamsaka, the Flower Ornament Scripture, is a practice in and of itself, a practice of deep patience and an ever-expanding spaciousness.

This class will be an introduction to this life-enhancing poetic practice, exploring excerpts chosen to open the door onto this awe-inspiring, inconceivable Avatamsaka world.
The book is available in print and online.

Constance, whose dharma name is Dream Window, has been a poet for more than 25 years.

Zoom participation will also be available. The link will be provided before the class begins.

Musō Constance Braden is a long-time lay ordained member of Houston Zen Center. She received the Bodhisattva Precepts and the dharma name: Musō Zōden, Dream Window, Elephant Field. She is a yoga teacher.
