Readings are taken from The Book of Joy, which documents the 2015 meeting between His Holiness The Dalai Lama and Archbishop Desmond Tutu. On the occasion of His Holiness’s eightieth birthday, these two forged a gift for all of us, an answer to the question: How do we find joy in the face of life’s inevitable suffering?
Zoom participation will also be available. The link will be provided before the class begins.
Bruce Handley, whose dharma name is Finger Pointing at the Moon, Boundless Joy, has been a student of Zen for nearly three decades. He is an environmental consultant.
