Auspicious Cloud Retreat Center is a 40 acre rural retreat center established to provide a quiet setting for spiritual retreats in the rolling hills outside Chappell Hill, Texas. Formerly the Margaret Austin Center, it is now under the stewardship of Houston Zen Center and has been undergoing renovations and revitalization since the transfer of ownership in 2021. We are accepting applications for retreats for groups of 10–40 for the remainder of 2023–summer 2024. The retreat contract and policies can be found here.
