Walking the Noble Eightfold Path

Yuho Wade Maggert

A Series of 6 Saturday classes April 12 - May 17. 1:30 - 3:00 pm. Taught by Yūhō Wade Maggert.

Walking the Noble Eightfold Path

This six-part exploration of The Noble Eightfold Path: Way to the End of Suffering by Bhikkhu Bodhi offers a practical and in-depth study of the Buddha’s path to liberation, guiding us through wisdom, ethical conduct, and mental discipline.

Each session will explore key teachings, engage in reflective discussions, and incorporate mindfulness practices to deepen our understanding.

Whether you are new to Buddhism or looking to enrich your practice, this course provides a structured yet accessible journey into the transformative power of the Eightfold Path.  Classes will begin with a brief meditation, then transition into lecture and discussion. Classes are in person.  All those with a dedicated meditation practice are welcome.

Yūhō Wade Maggert is a member of the Houston Zen Center (HZC). He received the Bodhisattva Precepts and the dharma name: Yūhō Myoki, Gentle Phoenix, Luminous Expression.
