The Path
Taught by Rebecca McIlwain
Bringing conscious, compassionate awareness to every moment of our life is at the heart of Zen practice. There is perhaps no better place to practice this than in the public sector. As members of a civic society and as students of Zen, we possess the unique inclination to look inward and transcend our limiting beliefs and assumptions that can cause suffering and fragment communities.
In this workshop we will learn how to bring compassion and equanimity to our role as citizens. Through guided imagery, exercises, and facilitated discussions, we will employ tools that enable us to deepen our practice and heal divisions that can plague our families, neighborhoods, and country.
About the workshop:
Please arrive on time and plan to stay for the duration of the workshop.
Please have your phone silenced and let family and friends know you will not be available for calls or texts during the workshop.
