Zen Ceremony & Everyday Life

Tricia McFarlin & Mary Carol Edwards

Tricia McFarlin & Mary Carol Edwards

6 Tuesdays, February 19 - March 26, 6:30 - 8:30 pm.

How do ceremonies connect with your everyday life? All ceremonies start in a certain way and end in a certain way.

The way we hold our bodies as we practice the ceremonies is saturated with meaning. Ceremony is a mindfulness exercise and much more. In this course, we will learn how to be in ceremonies, a process of learning how to observe those around us, to be in the group as a single body, and we will also learn the practice that ceremonies teach us of being spontaneous in the flow of the ceremony, doing our best without a mind of right or wrong.
