This class is an intensive opportunity to develop the understanding and experience of the interdependent relationship of loving-kindness and wisdom. By focusing on the Brahma Viharas, the Diamond Sutra, and loving-kindness exercises, participants can deepen the expression of these fundamental Buddhist practices.

Gayle Klaybor serves on the Board of Directors of HZC and is a social worker in private practice specializing in psychotherapy with adolescents, adults, couples and families. She has also been an adjunct faculty member at the UH Graduate College of Social Work.

Brandon Lamson served a term on the Board of Directors of HZC. He is a poet whose books include Starship Tahiti. He is a visiting assistant professor of creative writing at the University of Houston.

Each class begins with meditation.
