6 Wednesdays: November 9, 16 & 30 & December 7, 14 & 21
Taught by Abbot Gaelyn Godwin and Tanto/Head of Practice Kogen Glen Duval.
Much of our fear arises from fear of death. An essential part of spiritual practice is to face the fact of our inevitable death and prepare for it. To do this can be a gift to our family and friends.
These classes will include meditations on death, writing advance directives, learning about the biological facts of death, and watching a few compelling videos.
The first class is (a) an introduction to the topic, (b) a presentation of Buddhist teachings on death and dying; and (c) meditation and practices.
You may attend one or all of the classes. New material will be covered in each class.
