This class is designed for those who have taken the series of classes, Introduction to Zen Meditation.
Anyone who has meditation experience is also welcome. The class is an introduction to some basic Buddhist concepts, including Impermanence, Inter–dependence, the Bodhisattva Vow, and Dependent Co–arising and Emptiness.
Each evening will begin with a period of meditation followed by a discussion of the evening’s topic.
Tricia McFarlin is the President of the Board of Directors of HZC and holds a doctorate in English Literature. She teaches English Literature at Awty International School.
Cost is $100 for the 6–week series, $50 for members of HZC. Two scholarships are available, just let the Ino know that you are requesting a scholarship. Register below, by phone 713-869-1952, or in person at HZC.
