The altar: You may want to bring something to place on the altar during the gathering - something you will take home at the end of the morning to keep with you during the coming year.

Farewell to the Old Year: As we bid farewell to the old year and all its karma, we ceremonially burn things that are no longer needed. We have a very small and safe fire to burn old incense pieces and small pieces of paper with new intentions. You may wish to write down a list of hindrances that you would like to add to the fire, things that you are ready to leave behind.

New Year's Toast: Our final activity is a celebratory toast to the New Year and to all the possibilities it offers.

May everyone enjoy a peaceful New Year.
