April 16: One Day Saturday Sesshin

This one-day sesshin has reached capacity for in-person attendance. You can add your name to the waiting list by emailing Joy or ask to attend via Zoom. Thank you.

Abbot Gaelyn Godwin and Shuso Tricia McFarlin lead a day of intensive practice. Practicing together in a day of sesshin allows us to continue to develop and deepen practice. The sesshin will be in-person for fully vaccinated participants. A zoom link will be provided for those who are unable to attend in person. The cut off date for signing up is Friday morning April 15 at 11 am. Otherwise, it is not possible to guarantee sending the zoom link to late sign ups.

The day will be focused on zazen and the practice of opening the mind and heart. Zazen can ground and support us, everyone around us, and the whole world, allowing us to open to the teachings of wisdom and compassion. The day includes zazen (sitting meditation), kinhin (walking meditation), a dharma talk with discussion, and breaks for meals. Beginners are encouraged to contact the co-Tantos before signing up.

If you have any questions, please contact the co-Tantos, Gayle Klaybor or Vicki Glenn.

The Zoom link and password will be provided after you sign up. This will be a warm and positive way to continue our practice together.
