Full Moon Ceremony & Birthday Party for The Zen Center Building

Full Moon and Tree and Birds.jpg

100 Years Old! Celebrate the Zen Center’s wonderful, solid, beautiful building, which is 100 years old this year. Designed by Alfred C. Finn, completed in 1918, and lovingly restored by Geoffrey and Karlene Poll, the building has become a welcoming Zen Center — for more than 10 years.

Celebrate with cake right after the dharma talk.

The Full Moon ceremony will take place at 8:20 in the morning. It is the monthly ceremony of refreshing our Bodhisattva Vows and precepts. Everyone is welcome to the chanting and bowing, and the recitation of the precepts.

We look forward to seeing you Sunday.
