One Day Sesshin led by Zen Teacher Kokyo Henkel

A day of sitting and walking meditation The day includes a dharma talk by Zen Master Kokyo Henkel, Roshi, a senior teacher in the Soto Zen family. If this is your first one-day sitting, please contact the Heads of Practice, Louise Dreyfus or Gayle Klaybor.

This intensive day begins at 6 am and ends at 4 pm. You are encouraged to attend the class on oryoki, formal Zen eating bowls, on Thursday September 6 at 7 pm. One day sittings are an opportunity to refresh practice and explore new teachings in an intensive way.
