A day of sitting and walking meditation, a dharma talk by Seirin Tim Schorre, a Zen Priest, former president and head of practice of HZC. The day includes mindful oryoki lunch. 9 am - 4 pm. If this is your first one-day sitting, please contact the Head of Practice, Glen Duval.

The day will conclude with a ceremony of Invitation to the Shuso, during which Rev. Hondo Dave Rutschman will be invited by the Abbot and HZC leaders to serve as the Head Monk/Shuso for an entire year.
