Guided Tour of Houston Oil, Gas and Chemical Landscape

led by HZC member Stephanie Thomas, Ph.D. in Geology

Join Professor David Loy before the public talk on Friday April 21 for a tour of the gas and oil industry along the Ship Channel.

Depart Houston Zen Center at 12:30 in a van with guide Stephanie, David, Juan Parras the Director of the Texas Environmental Justice Advocacy Services, Abbot Gaelyn Godwin and other members of Houston Zen Center. 

The tour will last approximately 3 hours, meandering through the territory around the Ship Channel with explanatory comments by Stephanie, former petroleum geologist with Chevron, now an environmental activist.
