Certified Yoga teacher and Zen meditator Brian Burrell teaches a series of classes exploring the close relationship between yoga postures and sitting meditation.
This class will:
- Heal, challenge, and energize the body and mind
- Promote awareness through breathwork, stretching, standing poses and relaxation
- Support sitting & walking meditation practice
Brian practiced for several years at the Tassajara Zen Mountain monastery (the largest Zen monastery in the West), Green Gulch Farm Zen Center and San Francisco Zen Center. He received Zen lay-ordination at Houston Zen Center.
Brian is multiply-certified to teach: Forrest Yoga, Pralaya/Boustany Yoga and Yoga Institute styles of Yoga.
