Zen Priest Shōjin Vicki Glenn leads a day of intensive practice. Practicing together in a day of sesshin allows us to continue to develop and deepen practice. The sesshin will be in-person at Houston Zen Center.
The cut off date for signing up is Wednesday morning September 16 @ 11 am.
The sitting is open to everyone, and especially welcoming for members of Establishing the Path of Practice.
Members of EPP who live out of town can participate in the dharma talk via zoom. The link will be sent before the sitting.
The day will be focused on zazen and the practice of presence. Zazen can ground and support us, everyone around us, and the whole world, allowing us to open to the teachings of wisdom and compassion. The day includes zazen (sitting meditation), kinhin (walking meditation), a dharma talk with discussion, and formal oryoki meal practice. Beginners are encouraged to contact the co-Tantos before signing up.
If you have any questions, please contact the co-Tantos, Gayle Klaybor or Vicki Glenn.
