Rev. Zenki Dillo : Thusness and the Field of the Senses

Dharma Talk by Zen Priest Zenki Dillo.

Zenki Dillo Roshi is the Resident Teacher at Boulder Zen Center. He began his Zen practice in 1996 at the San Francisco Zen Center. For 20 years, he practiced monastically at the Crestone Mountain Zen Center. In 2013, he received dharma transmission from Zentatsu Baker Roshi.

Since then he has been Boulder Zen Center’s Guiding Teacher. In 2020, he moved to Boulder full-time, where he now lives with his wife, the light artist Sophia Dixon Dillo.

Alberto Gomez de la Torre : Our True Ancestors

Dharma Talk by Alberto Gomez de la Torre.

Alberto is a long-time member of Houston Zen Center. He received the Bodhisattva precepts in Quito, Ecuador in 1998, and was given the Dharma Name HoEi, Eternal Dharma. He received a second dharma name at Houston Zen Center: Creates True Humanity.

He co-leads Zen en Español. He began his practice in Quito, Ecuador with Padre Marco and studied with Ruben Habito in Dallas before arriving in Houston. He is the father of three beautiful children.

Before he moved to Houston he was the leader of the Centro de Desarrollo Integral in Quito (CDI) where Zen has been practiced since 1980. He is a permanent member of the advisory council of CDI.
